My interest in dentistry began during middle school. I enjoyed building model cars and airplanes, and was driven to make sure that piece A and piece B were placed together in the most precise and perfect way, so that the ending result was perfect. My mom is a nurse, so I had an early introduction to the health field. My fine motor skills combined with an early health background led me to decide that I wanted to become a dentist.

I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa. My dental degree was completed at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, class of 2016.

My interests include spending time with family – my wife Maria and I currently live together in Waverly, Iowa and will soon relocate to Cedar Falls, Iowa. I have had an interest in music since age 12 when I started playing the trumpet – I played in the jazz band my first year at the University of Northern Iowa. My biggest hobby is being a car enthusiast.

I look forward to participating in improving the oral health of the people of Cedar Falls and surrounding communities. Working with patients, it is important to me that everything is explained well so that there is full understanding of treatment and options. I love to educate patients as well so they know how and why certain conditions arise. Patient satisfaction and delivery of top quality care are essential in my practice.
